An employee had been using a scissor lift to caulk seams around an air conditioner. The employee exited the scissor lift and was kneeling on top of the air conditioner when he lost balance and fell to the floor approximately 13.5 feet below. The employee sustained a hip fracture and a laceration above the left eyebrow. Fall protection was not used at the time of the fall.
